Description

Apple Fritter is a rare, evenly balanced hybrid — 50% indica and 50% sativa. Its parent strains are Sour Apple and Animal Cookies.

Apple Fritter made the High Times’ 2016 “World’s strongest strains” list. It not only bursts with unique flavors that leave you begging for more but also hard-hitting highs. Its high starts almost as soon as you take your first toke.

Immediately, your mind starts running to and fro with positive and uplifting thoughts. After that, you may feel like you can do anything.

As you are still getting the hang of it, it quickly turns to a body high, numbing your muscles and relaxing your body. As time passes by, you will be glued to your couch the whole afternoon.

You should take this strain with a lot of restraint because of its high THC content.

The bud of an Apple Fritter has spade-shaped dark olive green nugs with deep purple undertones, orange hairs, and a coating of white crystal trichomes.

Its dominant terpene is Caryophyllene. It also has limonene terpenes.

Flavors of the Apple Fritter

Apple Fritter takes on flavors from the pastry it’s named after. It has a sweet, fruity, apple, earthy flavor with cheesy and vanilla notes.

Effects of the Apple Fritter

Apple Fritter has mostly a relaxing or calming effect. However, it also makes one feel euphoric, sleepy, and happy.

The high effects from Apple Fritter help in treating chronic pain, stress, depression, mood swings, and insomnia.

Its adverse effects are anxiety and paranoia.

Apple Fritter Grow Tips

Apple Fritter is an easy strain to grow. It can be grown indoors, outdoors, or in greenhouses.

It takes 8-9 weeks to flower indoors. But, by mid-October, you can expect to harvest the buds of your Apple Fritters.

They grow close to the ground (short) and have dense foliage.

The indoor yield is 12 to 14 ounces per square meter, and the outdoor yield is 14 to 16 ounces per plant.

They can grow in hot and humid areas.

They have a low resistance to pests and diseases.

Uses of Apple Fritter

Apple Fritter pot users believe it is intensely relaxing, leading to a good night’s sleep.

Others use it to help reduce nausea and pain and increase appetite.

Best time of the day to use

Because of its profound relaxation effects, Apple Fritter weed is better consumed at night.

Germinating Apple Fritter Seeds

Germinating seeds shouldn’t be a nightmare; we keep it simple with two of our favorite ways to germinate seeds.

The paper towel method and direct seeding.

Germinating seeds with the Paper towel method.

What you need; Apple Fritter Seeds, Ziplock bags or two dinner plates, paper towels, mist spray bottle, purified water, and tweezers.

Using dinner plates

  • Place one paper towel on one plate.
  • Moisten the paper towel using a water spray bottle.
  • Place your seeds on the paper towel – distance the seeds by an inch.
  • Moisten the second paper towel and cover the seeds.
  • Cover the seeds with the second dinner plate
  • Place the plates in a warm dark place; a drawer or cupboard can work.

Using Zip lock bags

  • Dampen your paper towel and place it on a flat surface.
  • Place your seeds on one-half the paper towel – distance the seeds by one inch.
  • Fold the other half of the paper towel over the seeds, properly covering them.
  • Insert the paper towel into the zip lock bag.
  • Tack your Ziplock bag into a dark warm place

Whichever method you prefer, ensure your paper towels are constantly moist.

Germinating seeds with the direct seeding method.

Another hassle-free way to germinate your seeds is with the direct seeding method.

  • Moisten the soil with a mist spray bottle,
  • Poke a hole in moist soil with your finger or a stick twice the size of the seed.
  • Plant the seed, and then cover with a pinch or two of soil.
  • If the ground is hard, moist the soil in the next 2-3 days with a mist spray
  • Your seed should pop in 1-5 days.

  1. sprouted, slow growing, half size of others of same germination date. Small but sturdy.

    • Hello Valerie,

We’re sorry to hear that your sprouts were smaller than expected, but we’re glad to hear that they are still strong and healthy. We appreciate your feedback and will continue to work to improve the quality of our products.

  2. Found seeds to be small and unable to get them to sprout.
The ones that sprouted did not grow.

  3. germinated and is looking strong and healthy but is not even close to harvest, will repost after it is down and “tested”
