Your plant’s roots gotta live somewhere — and that’s your grow medium.

You’ve got three main choices:
🌱 Soil – Classic, beginner-friendly, and forgiving. Great for growing weed outdoors or in pots. Bonus: good soil already has some nutrients and helpful microbes.
🥥 Coco Coir – Made from coconut husks. It drains well and boosts growth, but you’ll need to feed your plant every drop of nutrients since coco is inert.
💧 Hydroponics – No soil, just roots in water. Fast growth and fat yields, but it’s gear-heavy and less forgiving. Not ideal for your first grow.

Our take? Start with soil. It’s chill, low-stress, and a solid foundation while you learn. You can always level up to coco or hydro once you’ve got a few harvests under your belt.
